The Universiti Malaya Campus Election Committee is responsible for organizing and overseeing fair, transparent, and democratic student elections for Universiti Malaya Student Union. Established in the 1950s, Universiti Malaya Student Union (UMSU) is the official student representative body of Universiti Malaya, dedicated to protecting student rights, promoting welfare, and creating a vibrant campus environment. They serve as a bridge between students and the university, organizing initiatives that empower and unite the student community.   Furthermore, UMSU is a member in National Student Consultative Council Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
