KOLEJ KEDIAMAN TUN SYED ZAHIRUDDIN

Like the mythical phoenix rising from its ashes, plans for the Ninth Residential College were formed after the Modular Residential College caught fire in 1990. The college started construction on 2nd of January 1994 and was completed in April 1995. The Residential College was officially launched by Y.A Bhg. Orang Kaya Seri Maharaja Tun Haji Syed Zahiruddin bin Syed Hassan. The college is named in his honour.

It currently houses 900 students pursuing undergraduate studies at the University of Malaya as well as one block for Administrative staff. The college is also renowned for having produced many talented students in various fields especially in arts, academics and soft skills such as debate and public speaking.
